Hyperreality is used in semiotics and postmodern philosophy to describe a hypothetical inability of consciousness to distinguish reality from fantasy, especially in technologically advanced postmodern cultures. Hyperreality is a means to characterize the way consciousness defines what is actually "real" in a world where a multitude of media can radically shape and filter an original event or experience. Some famous theorists of hyperreality include Jean Baudrillard, Albert Borgmann, Daniel Boorstin, and Umberto Eco.
1960년대 후반 미국에서 일어난 회화와 조각의 새로운 경향.
슈퍼리얼리즘 ·포토리얼리즘 ·라디칼리얼리즘 ·샤포포커스리얼리즘 ·포토아트라고도 한다. 같은 시기에 독일을 비롯한 유럽 각지에서 시도된 비슷한 경향의 미술을 포함시키는 경우도 있다. 주로 일상적인 현실을 생생하고 완벽하게 그려내는 것이 특징이다. 주관을 극도로 배제하고 중립적 입장에서 사진처럼 극명한 화면을 구성하며, 아무 뜻없이 장소 ·친구 ·가족 등이 다루어진다. 또한 감광제(感光劑)를 캔버스에 발라 직접 프린트하는 경우도 있다. 극사실주의는 본질적으로 미국적인 리얼리즘으로, 특히 팝 아트의 강력한 영향으로 일어난 운동이다. 따라서 극사실주의는 팝 아트와 같이 매일매일의 생활, 즉 우리 눈앞에 항상 있는 이미지의 세계를 반영하고 있지만, 한편 팝 아트와는 달리 아주 억제된 것이어서 아무런 코멘트 없이 그 세계를 현상 그대로만 취급한다. 그러나 감정이 배제된 채 기계적으로 확대된 화면의 효과는 매우 충격적이다. 우리가 육안으로는 알아낼 수 없는 추악함, 이를테면 모발에 가려진 점이나 미세한 흉터까지도 부각되어, 보통이라면 그냥 지나쳐버릴 수도 있는 현상이 보는 이로 하여금 잔혹한 인상을 받게 한다.

My project concept is 'The Moon'
I took a picture of the poor hillside village. poor hillside village, Korean name is 달동네.
I have used the poor hillside village(달동네) as a metaphor.
Also, The moon has a cold and warm. This feeling is matched poor hillside village mood.

I combined the pictures and made the image of a butterfly.

Today, our environment is threatened by increased carbon emissions due to advanced technology. This is why we designed Eco-widget which has an easy compatibility to computers and digital devices (gadgets). By using Eco-widget, users automatically participate in saving earth.
Because it motivates users by informing them how to much carbon they have saved.
Also, It educates them saving energy is not difficult.
